As Director of Admissions, he brings warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm to every family interaction. With over 12 years of experience in independent school admissions, Michael understands that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions families make. He takes pride in creating a welcoming and transparent admissions experience where families feel heard and valued.

Michael's approach to admissions is both holistic and personal. He believes that every child has unique strengths and learning needs, and he works to identify students who will thrive in Meridian's collaborative and inquiry-based environment. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northwestern University. Before joining Meridian, he worked in admissions at two other independent schools, where he developed expertise in enrollment management, marketing, and community relations.

Michael has been instrumental in diversifying Meridian's student body, expanding outreach efforts to underrepresented communities and partnering with organizations that support educational access. He also oversees the school's financial aid program, ensuring that talented students from all economic backgrounds have the opportunity to attend Meridian. Michael is known for his ability to connect with both children and parents, making the admissions process feel personal and supportive rather than stressful. Outside of work, Michael volunteers as a mentor for first-generation college students and enjoys exploring new restaurants with his partner.
