Winter Information Sessions Begin January 15

Interested in Meridian Charter School for your student? Join us for a virtual information session to learn about our mission, academics, and enrollment process.

Virtual Information Sessions

Our information sessions are held online via Zoom and last approximately one hour. They include:

  • An overview of Meridian's educational philosophy and approach
  • Details about our curriculum, assessment, and daily student experience
  • Information about the enrollment process and lottery system
  • Time for questions and conversation with school leadership
  • Opportunity to hear from current Meridian families

Sessions are interactive and informal. We encourage you to bring questions, whether you're just starting to explore options or ready to apply.

Upcoming sessions:

  • January 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM
  • February 12, 2026 at 6:00 PM
  • March 5, 2026 at 6:00 PM

All sessions cover the same content, so you only need to attend one. Registration links are available on our enrollment page.

Campus Tours

Prefer to visit in person? We offer weekly campus tours throughout the enrollment season.

Tours include:

  • A walk through our campus and classrooms

  • Q&A about academics, student life, and enrollment

Tour schedule:

  • Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM (during school hours - see learning in action)

Student Shadow Days

Current 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are invited to spend a full day at Meridian shadowing a current student.

Shadow days give prospective students an authentic sense of what it's like to be a Meridian student. They attend classes, eat lunch with their shadow buddy, participate in advisory, and experience our community firsthand.

Shadow days are offered on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout February and March. Space is limited and students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for drop-off and pick-up.

We welcome students from all backgrounds, abilities, and prior academic experiences. Meridian provides support for students with IEPs, 504 plans, English language learners, and diverse learning needs.

We're looking for students and families who:

  • Value curiosity, questions, and meaningful learning
  • Want an education that connects to real-world challenges
  • Are interested in a small, community-oriented school environment
  • Appreciate an approach to learning that emphasizes depth over coverage
  • Want to be part of building and shaping a school culture

What to Expect

During information sessions and tours, you'll learn about:

How we frame education as orientation—helping students find direction, clarity, and purpose in their learning.

Curriculum & Academics
Our interdisciplinary approach, essential questions framework, and project-based learning model.

Assessment
How we use competency-based assessment, narrative evaluations, and student portfolios instead of traditional grading.

Student Life

Enrollment Process
How the lottery works, application timeline, and what happens after you're accepted.
